I provide a full architectural service from inception to completion in line with the RIBA work stages A-L. These are: inception + site survey - outline proposal - scheme design - detail design - tender information+tender - site management .... or any part thereof. My appointment with the client is either by signed letter or an RIBA Standard Form of Appointment. Projects to date range from new houses to small chapels, conservatories, domestic extensions, domestic refurbishment, garden and graphic design. I also have wide experience in dealing with Listed Buildings. |

I can submit applications for Planning Permission or Listed Building Consent as required by the project and local authority. I can also provide the necessary information for Building Control. Certificates will be supplied on completion of the works. |

| party wall surveying | ||||
| Under a separate appointment I can act as a Party Wall Surveyor under the terms of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, in serving relevant notices and drawing up Party Wall Awards. A second surveyor is also usually appointed by the adjacent building owner. His fees are payable by the owner wishing to undertake building work. | ||||
| engineering services | ||||
| I do not undertake engineering design but can organise a direct appointment between the client and an engineer. I work with a couple of practices whom I can recommend for appointment. | ||||
| fees | ||||
| I generally work with reference to the former RIBA recommended fee scales. Fees are discussed and agreed at the outset of each project. | ||||
